To thoroughly actualize the spirit of the speech by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Hanzhong and to enhance the promotion and international dissemination of Han culture, Hanzhong Radio and Television Station, Hanzhong Branch of “Xuexi.cn” learning platform, and School of Foreign Studies at Shaanxi University of Technology jointly filmed and launched the micro video documentary “Exploring the Origin of Cai Hou Paper” on the occasion of the 25th Journalist’s Day. The documentary tells the fascinating story of Heather (an English teacher from Ireland, Chinese name by Qin Haile) embarking on a journey to explore and experience the origin of Caihou Paper, guided by Professor Yu Li from the School of Foreign Studies at Shaanxi University of Technology. Through the unique perspective of an international friend and a clear narrative logic, it builds a bridge for cultural exchange, helping to promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture to the world. This work vividly practices General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches on continuously enhancing the country’s cultural soft power and the influence of Chinese culture, as well as innovatively conducting online external communication. It emphasizes the important role of museums in protecting, inheriting, researching, and displaying human civilization, safeguarding the continuity of Chinese culture, bringing cultural relics to life, and expanding the influence of Chinese culture.
